Who can interact with the Italian Registration Authority
Provider/maintainer category: identifies who can interact with the RA and, therefore, benefit from the related services
The steps to be taken in order to become a provider/maintainer are:
- sign a contract with the Registration Authority. There are two main types of contract:
- for providers/maintainers that register domains on behalf of a third party (922 Euro + VAT). This includes the start-up fee (775 Euro + VAT), the registration of 30 new domain names, the helpdesk service and the participation on the training courses. The tariff refers to 2001-2002.
- for the direct assignee of the domain name (155 Euro + VAT). It includes the registration of a domain name, the helpdesk service and the participation on the training courses. The price of the maintenance of the domain name is 103 Euro + VAT. The tariff refers to 2001-2002.
