Why autonomous systems?

• Current span of RIPE-TT measurements:3600 IP addresses, 111 Ass

• ASs are natural entities because of routing policies

• Now getting data from Whois servers, maybe RouteViews would be better?

• Only some 20 IP addresses unmappable
