The Procedure of Registering a domain name
The application is processed for consistency with the rules of [.gr] (Geographical names, names containing the words ‘olympic’ or ‘2004’ and offending names are excluded. The geographical names can be registered only by local authorities).
A contract is being sent to the applicant via courier services. The domain is set to PENDING status (inserted in the zone file) for 45 days.
The signed and paid contract is returned to the GR-Hostmaster.
The domain name is registered.
