.INFO LandRush2 Overview
Goal: Give ALL registrants a fair chance to obtain popular domain names in the new .INFO domain
Basic process is the same as LR1
- Applicants request names thru Registrars
- Registrars submit requests to Afilias in a queue
- Afilias randomizes the requests and makes the final selections
- Afilias informs Registrars, who then inform Registrants
No need for trademarks; Sunrise rules do not apply
