IP Addressing
Each IPP will normally manage its own address range
IPPs cannot normally route between different IP networks
- need to avoid competing with customers
Extending VLAN(s) to another IPP allows an IPP to extend its IP address space to the other
Customers physically connected to one IPP, but logically on the other, will need to have multiple IP addresses per interface
- secondary addresses one way to do this
- 802.1q sub-interfaces better
