The Registry provides a DNS nameserver backbone infrastructure with a master DNS nameserver for zone file distribution and regional geographically dispersed secondary nameservers sites for redundancy
DNS compliant with RFC1035 and RFC2181
The system validates all zone-file update packages before updating the actual nameservers
DNS host infrastructure access is available to Registry Supervisors via digital certificates, userid, and password authentication
The DNS infrastructure incorporate a firewall to provide state-based filtering of UDP packets to prevent attacks
