SFINX : Services - Update
- ISPs are now requesting Giga-Ethernet connections (today offer only available for ISPs coming with a hosted router in SFINX racks, so only GBIC/1000BaseSX are provided onto the switch).
- Direct connections onto the switch (without the need to have a hosted router in SFINX racks) are now possible. For direct connections onto the switch, it is requested that ISPs send their BGP routes to the SFINX « route server » (RIPE NCC box : RIS&RCC project). For the moment, only Fast-Ethernet connection are allowed, but a commercial offer for Giga-Ethernet connections should be defined before the end of the year (with the possibility to have either GBIC/1000BaseSX or LX – but probably a higher price for LX).
